I like the light for ease of installation on to my forks, but would have appreciated some sort of wiring diagram beyond low medium and high or some nonesense and a couple connectors or recommendation / link for options. Thankfully, another reviewer noted what he used...super nice headlight for the price. DOT approved, decent bulb. The low beam kinda has a weird pattern but no big deal. biggest problem is it requires 2.8mm female blade terminals which isn't something most people would know. I bought the connectors and designed and printed a plastic connector to go with it.The real pain is there is no wiring or even terminals to make connections, and these use a smaller style flat spade that i didnt have any connectors for, i ended up soldering everything together.2nd - the light isnt really that bright, i have yet to give it a decent test on the trail, i may do that later3rd - the light pattern is pretty horrid, im not sure if ray charles designed this or what. Also, the light coming of the back of the assembly is pretty bright, ill have to build some sort of deflector to keep the light shining back on me.4th - it looks good, fits well and looks right at home on my ttr-230, no assembly instructions but its pretty easyI bought this light for my 1980 Yamaha tt250. I was looking for a light that was DOT approved so that I could make my bike street legal. This fit the ticket, and was a reasonable price. It was simple to install, and the directions were simple and clear. The light is bright enough for me to see at night. It seems to stand up well with the vibrations of a dirt bike. I like that the fit is so universal and can adjust easily. I had my doubts at first about the bands that hold it on, but they seem to hold up well. I would recommend this to others. This a great light for the price. I have used it on a 2006 crf230, a 2004 crf100 and recently put one an XR400 after upgrading the forks. I used Baja design wiring harnesses for both CRF's and just swapped out the XR400s. I would have given it 5 stars if It had a standard headlight plug. After minor rewire, they all work as I hoped.I like the headlight but it doesn't come with any instructions at all hardly. I had to take it to my Dirt Bike guy to have it installed. It was way out of my league. But it looks great now that it's on the bike. This is a nice headlight. It comes with good hardware to mount it. I tried to put it on a 2017 TTR125 and the front brake line rubs on the fairing, no matter how i placed it would rub. This light looks really nice on the bike, a 2011 Husqvarna TXC 250. The short standoffs were perfect. I did have to shave some plastic from inside the top of the lamp opening to get the angle of projection down enough.
